Write For Us

Do you have bright ideas about the future?

Do you dream about tomorrow?

Do you sense change around you easily?

-- or maybe --

Do you know about any new gadgets? Like, really "new", not "oh just another this-or-that" -kind? Do you have news of latest research that can change the future? Maybe you have a plan to change our lives?

-- then --

Why not share with us your ideas, your news? See your hard work available to millions! Share your published content with your friends and boast, brag, shout! (Or tweet, share, pin -- as the case might be!)

-- but wait a second --

Not so fast. You can't expect me to publish anything. This blog is about the future, so tell me about the future only. You can send me posts about the future, about gadgets that may change the future, ideas for a different and better tomorrow, researches about the coming time, technology that's way next-gen, trends that has never been... anything that can be related to the future. Yes, fantasy too. And yes, worries, too. I know that not everything can be bright and shiny.

In short, your article must answer or attempt to answer one question, "What's going to happen to _____?" Put any subject in that blank space. Understand the question. Not "What's happening with ____?", no, it's "What's going to happen to whatever?

-- what can you send --

Sorry, folks, but I won't look at anything random. You see, there has to be rules to everything, so are here for my blog. They are:

  1. People like to see at an article which has quality. If you can't write something that you yourself don't like to read, don't bother sending it.

  2. So you have given good information, but have you explained them? You've got to make a decent size. Otherwise people might think that I've accidentally posted the snippet of the post, not the post itself!  (I generally like wc 400+, but more is better.)
[Update: Due to increasing demands I am accepting microposts pointing to other sensational articles or pages. But that page has to be pretty new and extremely interesting! Can give one RELEVANT link per micropost.]

  3. Just the text? That's all? Can't give any pics or vids to help people visualize whatever you were talking about? Geez, my grandma tells better stories. In fact, that new craze, InfoGraphics, has a big value -- to draw people, to make people read, and not to get bored. I know it's mighty big work to produce a decent infogrphic -- so at least decorate your posts. If you just can't give anything but text, then you better have some mighty strong text!

  4. Okay, so you've made an article rich with ornamentation and is almost bound to win you an award. But who should the award go to? Author bio is a must for my blog. A nice, long one. With some sort of personal link. Like, a g+ or fb profile page, a blog at the very least, where the author's previous handiwork can be found. See, if you don't exist, your post doesn't exist. While this isn't exactly mandatory, but you know this is better.

  5. Don't just post and forget! You love your work, right? All that time went behind your beautiful article, and you're just going to walk away when it's found a home? Well, DON'T! Please consider promoting your post through social media after we confirm the publication of your post. Come on, tweet it, share it, +1 it, post a message on a microblog that you've made a beautiful post. It's good for both you and us, and not to mention, attracts the attention of any search engine - which in turn means faster crawling and better social ranking. You want people to know that you've written something, right? While I won't be so extreme to tell you call your buddies say yay, yet I would encourage you to shout in social media sites, about the post.
I recommend that you read this article first, about how to make a successful post. If you have followed 70% of that guide, you've almost won my heart -- don't mind if I ask for your phone number! :)

-- what do you get --

Please don't ask money! What's that? Links, not dollars? Ah yes, links. Okay, I'm a fair guy, I can give you many links. But why should I? Suppose, you've given me an InfoGraphic, or your content was simply stunning? Well, take three of 'em! Your content is so-so? Okay, no more than two. Pretty lame post that you managed to push through just because your irresistible charms? Take one link and be off!
